Premarital Therapy
With divorce statistics hovering around 50% of married people, many couples today want to insure that their marriage will last. They want to do what they can to 'divorce-proof' their marriage before they marry.
Other couples have been together for some time, but just haven't moved toward engagement or marriage. They seem stuck. We can help couples clarify why they're stuck and help them move forward toward marriage, whenever possible.
We offer sessions uniquely designed for couples hoping to marry. These sessions include looking at issues that couples do not typically discuss before marriage, improving communication, questionnaires, homework, discussion of prenuptial agreements (when appropriate), creating a value system for their family, and many other topics which help to reduce the likelihood of a future divorce.
Here are but a few of the questions we ask couples to tackle:
1. Do we have the same values around money, spending and saving?
2. What is our standard of tidiness going to be?
3. How often will we get together with extended family?
4. Do we agree on the definition of 'an affair'?
These and many other important topics can be addressed in Pre-Marital sessions designed just for your relationship.

Classes
Currently we are designing short term classes that couples or singles may attend. We will offer a variety of topics of interest to couple relationships. This is a short, cost effective format in which to learn about a particular issue.
